On Monday, June 6, 2016, took place, in the Senate Hall of the POLITEHNICA University in Bucharest, the ceremony of awarding the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the POLITEHNICA University to Mr. Virgil PERCEC, from the University of Pennsylvania, honorary member of the Romanian Academy. The title was awarded following the proposal made by the representatives of the Faculty of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science.
