On Thursday, 04/09/2014, the ceremony of awarding the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest to professor Efstratios PISTIKOPOULOS from Imperial College London, took place in the Senate Hall of the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. Professor PISTIKOPOULOS is a member of the Royal Academy of Engineering, holder of prestigious awards, author of more than 200 scientific articles in ISI journals, cited more than 5500 times, with a Hirsch index of 38 and a world-renowned authority in the process systems engineering.
