On Friday, March 18, 2016, took place, in the Senate Hall of the POLITEHNICA University in Bucharest, the awarding ceremony of the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the POLITEHNICA University in Bucharest, to Mr. Bogdan C. SIMIONESCU, from the "Petru Poni" Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry in Iasi, vice president of the Romanian Academy. The title was awarded following the proposal made by the representatives of the Faculty of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science.
