On Tuesday, 16/09/2014, the ceremony of awarding the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest to Mrs. Chantal ANDRAUD, director of the Laboratoire de Chimie - Ecole Normale Superieure de Lyon, took place in the Senate Hall of the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. Mrs. Chantal ANDRAUD was elected Fellow of SPIE - The International Society of Optics and Photonics in 2010 and received the Légion d'Honneur (the highest distinction in France) in 2013. She is the author or co-author of over 180 scientific articles, cited over 2500 times, holds 11 patents and has a Hirsh index of 27.
